Fear Will Kill Faith
Fear is a lion
Slowly stealing faith and joy
It devours the soul and crushes hope
It is the opposite of the spiritual life
Fear stands as a conquering army
Posed to block the faith given by the Lamb
It lurks in the darkness
Looking to conquer blessings
It causes shame and hopelessness
It makes cowards of us all
It is a sly wolf waiting and watching
Looking for an enemy to slay
Come my Lord
My glorious host
My divine Spirit
Lift me about the chaos
Come my wonderful God
And lift me above my fears
Lift me as high as the heavens
Let me see your glorious face shine
Lift me and let me see the passionate cross
Let me understand the meaning of grace

Romans 14:8: “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” To me, that’s grace.
